Calera Main Street is excited to announce the first annual Calera Festival of Trees, bringing the magic of the holiday season to Downtown Calera. The festival will feature a stunning display of live Christmas trees, beautifully decorated by local businesses, organizations, and community members. The event will kick off with a special tree lighting ceremony including the City’s Grand Christmas Tree under the pavilion, on November 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM.This new festive tradition invites the community to showcase their holiday spirit by decorating a live tree for a donation of $175 to Calera Main Street. Whether you represent a local business, a favorite charity, or simply want to highlight your personal Christmas decorating talent, this event is an opportunity to make a memorable impact while supporting the revitalization of Calera’s historic downtown.
Event Timeline:
• October 1 – Registration Opens
• November 3 – Deadline for $175 Payment
• November 14, 2 - 5 PM – Tree Selection (First Come, First Serve)
• November 14 – November 23, Noon – Tree Decorating Period
• November 23, 6:00 PM – Judging & Tree Lighting Ceremony
• November 23 – January 2 – Trees on Display
The $175 entry fee includes:
• A 5-6 foot live Christmas tree
• Access to an electrical outlet
• Printed signage showcasing your sponsorship
• Promotion on Calera Main Street’s social media platforms
• A portion of the fee will contribute to Calera Main Street’s efforts to revitalize the downtown business district
Decorating Guidelines:
Participants will be responsible for decorating their trees in accordance with event guidelines, ensuring all decorations are outdoor-friendly and can withstand wind and rain. Outdoor LED lights and outdoor extension cords are required to prevent electrical issues. Trees must be fully decorated by 12:00 PM on November 23rd, and they will remain on display until January 2, 2025.

• Best Business Representation
