Calderdale Youth Voice Disability Pride Celebration

Calderdale Youth Voice are running an event for young people in celebration of Disability Pride Month. This will be held on Tuesday 21st July at Orange Box Young People's Centre, Halifax at 1pm - 3pm. This event has been designed by Calderdale SEND Youth Representatives.
Children and young people aged 11 - 18 (or 25 with SEND) are invited to come to Orange Box Young People's Centre, get involved and have fun whilst celebrating disability. Spread the word and bring your friends!
They'll be a series of awesome interactive activities and workshops such as biscuit decorating, badge making, arts & crafts and adaptable sports activities which any young people can get involved in. The whole event and activities involved have been designed by and will be delivered by young people. All activities will be inclusive and accessible – free fruit and light refreshments will be available! 😊
This will be a drop in event – young people can drop in for ten minutes or stay for the full two hours. There will be a quiet space provided for those who wish to use this area.
