Cal Poly Alumni — Phoenix Founders Day Celebration

Alumni and friends are invited to celebrate Cal Poly’s founding from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at alumni-owned The Shepard Collection's Tasting Suite at Industrious Tempe (222 S Mill Ave Ste 800, Tempe, AZ 85281).

Cal Poly’s story began March 8, 1901, when Gov. Henry Gage signed legislation creating the university after a successful grassroots effort led by journalist Myron Angel and local supporters.

This Founders Day, we’re celebrating 125 years of Learn by Doing and Mustang pride. Come mix and mingle with alumni and friends, show off your green and gold, and enjoy a curated tasting of three wines led by alumni owner and winemaker Brandon Shepard (Kinesiology, '11).

Ticket options:

• Wine Tasting Tickets are $38 and include a wine flight, charcuterie and special swag
• Non-Tasting Tickets are $15 and include a non-alcoholic beverage, charcuterie and special swag
