We have a treat for you! On Saturday, August 29th from 11am-3pm our friends Hyun Jung Jun of Dream Cake Test Kitchen, Manny Edwards of The Goody Vault, and Tony and Jasmine Corralez of 2339 will be at The Center.

Dream Cake Test Kitchen began during the pandemic as a simple idea Hyun Jung called "friendship cakes." Hyun Jung eventually decided to share these cakes with more people and started Dream Cake Test Kitchen. With her background in art, she focuses as much on the visuals and decoration as she does the flavor, borrowing elements from nature like swans, clouds, and fantastical landscapes.

The Goody Vault is a Chicago-based vintage clothing showroom founded by Manny Edwards. Located in Wicker Park, The Goody Vault specializes in well-loved, character-rich garments and workwear from the 1920s through the 1990s, while also offering hands-on mending classes and sustainable repair services.

Tony and Jasmine are the creators of 2339, a Chicago scent brand developed around their love for their home and each other. Each scent at 2339 is inspired by scents commonly found in their home. A portion of their profits are donated to housing assistance programs. Their hope is that their candles bring joy and comfort to other’s homes.

This is an event for vintage lovers, food lovers, and scent lovers! Come by for delicious cakes, a collection of vintage clothing and accessories, and local candles.
