Come and have a wonderful learning experience with Ann Biggs, who is delivering a Watercolour Taster Afternoon. There are two 1 hour sessions. £20pp all materials included and refreshments are provided.
Session Programme:
1. Introduction to the Paint & Paper
2. Introduction to Watercolour Washer
Demonstration by Ann and then you have a go on:
a) Wet on dry paper
b) Wet on wet paper
c) Dry paint on dry paper.
‘Fun’ texturing effects will include:
a) Kitchen towel – cloud effects
b) Cling film – water effects
c) Candle wax – brick, tree effects
d) Sponging – leaves on trees
e) Masking tape – sky, water, trees
f) Sea salt – sparkling water, flowers in fields
g) Specialist brushes – fan/rigger/Chinese brush/deersfoot and others.
