January’s jam will be led by Kevin Hillbun and Co-Host Josh Elkins!
As part of its cultural offerings, the Museum hosts a monthly Cajun Jam on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. We welcome musicians of any skill level, fans of Cajun music, and music lovers to join in to play traditional Louisiana songs for this open jam. Please bring your acoustic instrument (fiddle, accordion, guitar, washboard, triangle, and double bass, no amps please) to this FREE and open to the public music program.
This Cajun Jam is sponsored by the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association. The CFMA is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of our Cajun music, dance, language, and heritage.
