The Cajammers are a Durham-based band that plays a highly danceable mix of Cajun, Zydeco, and swamp pop. Formed in 2012, the band features a trio of female fiddlers, so you’ll hear some beautiful harmonies set to Cajun waltzes, two steps, zydeco, blues, and other Louisiana-inspired tunes, including songs in Cajun French. This energetic group will keep your toes tapping from beginning to end, and your smiles will be ear to ear!The band has been featured at Durham’s The Pit and in Gloucester, NC for Mardi Gras as well as Durham’s Beer and Banjos.
Members: Dianne Freund (fiddle), Heather Henry (fiddle), Christine Westfall (fiddle), Cathy Pratt Davis (Cajun accordion), Tony Matthews (bass), Joe Galas (keyboard), Elvis Latiolais (guitar), and Greg Clark (percussion).
