مستعدون لقضاء ليلة رمضانية في قلب القاهرة التاريخية؟
انضموا إلينا في ورشتنا القادمة لتعلم حرفة قشرة الخشب ويليها تجمع للسحور بمركز الخليفة الخدمي.
خلال الورشة سوف نتعرف على تاريخ صناعة قشرة الخشب، وانواع القشرة المختلفة وكيفية استخراجها، وكيفية تصنيع بعض الألواح الخشبية منها مثل خشب الأبلكاش.
سيقوم كل مشارك بتصميم قاعدة الأكواب الخاصة به، ثم نختتم ليلتنا بتناول سحور مصري تقليدي سوياً.
تأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن برنامج جولات الخليفة من تنظيم جمعية الفكر العمراني، وتخصص جميع الإيرادات لدعم استدامة البرامج التعليمية والمجتمعية للجمعية بمنطقة الخليفة.
الوقت والتاريخ: السبت ٨ مارس، من الساعة ٩ مساءً حتى ١٢صباحاً.

عن المدرب: إبراهيم وحيد
تخرج إبراهيم من كلية التربية الفنية عام ٢٠١٧ ثم عمل في مجالات تصميمية مختلفة حتى عام 2020 ، حيث أسس عمله الخاص ( أوراها - Oraha ) لأعمال الأخشاب الطبيعية. ثم ألتحق إبراهيم بدبلومة بيت جميل للحرف التراثية وتخصص في الحرف الخشبية والنجارة.
ومن ثم باشرعمله كمدرب في بيت جميل للحرف التراثية في قسم التطعيم والأويمة وقشرة الخشب. ثم كمسئول عن قسم التطعيم بالصدف في مركز الحرف التقليدية بالفسطاط .
و أخيراً يعمل إبراهيم حالياً بالتوازي مع عمله الخاص كمنسق خط إنتاج الأعمال الخشبية بمشروع شغل تراث ضمن مبادرة الأثر لنا.

Are you ready to spend Ramadan night in the heart of Historic Cairo?
Join us for our upcoming veneer wood workshop and a suhoor gathering at al-khalifa Community Centre.
During the workshop, we will explore the history of veneer wood craftsmanship and the different types of veneer, how it's extracted, and how it's used to manufacture wooden boards such as plywood.
Each participant will get the chance to design and execute their own wooden coaster, concluding our night with eating a traditional Egyptian suhoor together!
Date & Time: Saturday, March 8, from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Workshop instructor: Ibrahim Waheed
The workshop will be conducted in Arabic.
About the instructor:
Ibrahim Waheed
Ibrahim graduated from the Faculty of Art Education in 2017 and worked in various design fields until 2020, when he founded his own business, Oraha, specialising in natural woodwork. He then joined the Jameel House of Traditional Arts Diploma, where he specialised in woodworking and carpentry.
Following this, he began working as a trainer at Jameel House of Traditional Arts, teaching marquetry, wood inlay, and veneering. He later took on the role of Head of the Inlay Department at the Traditional Crafts Center in Fustat.
Currently, alongside running his own business, Ibrahim works wood production unit coordinator for Heritage Works project under Athar Lina initiative.
Registration fees: 500 EGP
Fees cover the tools and materials for the workshop and the suhoor meal.

This event is a part of al-Khalifa Tours program run by the Built Environment Collective, and all proceeds allocated will support the sustainability of the initiative's educational and community programs in al-Khalifa neighbourhood.

Cancellation Policy:
Full refund if cancelled before 3 PM, 5th March 2025
In case of cancellation after that, no percentage of the paid fees will be refunded.
