CAG/CARTO2026 UVic area walking tour

Join us for a walk up ‘Mount’ Tolmie 120m (70m elevation gain), approx 2km, within a 30min walk from UVic to orientate ourselves to the surrounding landscape with views to what is now Vancouver & area and Washington State. We will then walk approx 3.5 kms, 50mins ‘down’ to sea level to Cadboro (Cadborough) Bay. Some folks may linger in Cadboro Bay Village and some will walk approx 2km back ‘up’ (55m elevation gain) to UVic. Historical airphotos and maps will be available to provide context.
NOTE: This free walking tour is only for folks who are registered to attend CAG/CARTO2026 at UVic and may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
