🌟 Café Psychologique Christmas Fundraiser for Local Families 🌟

Café Psychologique is a warm, welcoming space to talk openly about life — no experts, no lectures, just genuine conversation. Each café explores a different topic in an informal evening full of ideas, diverse perspectives, laughter, and a few drinks. If you enjoy group discussion or simply want to hear how others see the world, you’ll feel right at home.

This December, we’re dedicating our Café evening to support local families through the holiday season by fundraising for the Core Project Birkenhead.

The Core Project Birkenhead has provided over 100 Christmas food hampers to families in need. But due to a significant drop in funding, they can now afford to supply only around 30 hampers. We don’t want to see families go without food during what should be the most hopeful time of the year — so we’re coming together as a community to help.

What We’re Fundraising For
Each Christmas hamper costs £22 and contains essential food for a family of four for approximately five days, including:

• Pasta and rice
• Tinned meats and vegetables
• Milk, bread, and eggs
• Cereal and other staples

These hampers provide dignity, stability, and relief during a difficult season.

Our goal is to raise £1,760 to fund 80 additional hampers for families in our community.
£22 = 1 family supported, but any amount you can spare will make a real difference.

What to Expect on the Night
The evening will run in two parts with a break in the middle. We’ll begin with a short introduction to the fundraising effort, followed by our usual open group conversation — exploring the theme: Rituals and Relationships: why are they important?
