About this Event

Meal kits will be ready for pickup in the George Brown Chef School Grand Atrium (SJB, 300 Adelaide St. E, Toronto - Main Floor) on Dec 10th 2025, between 11:45am and 12:30pm.


Our Baking and Pastry Arts students are pleased to offer unique Café Concept Meal Kits for sale, as part of their third-semester lab exams. In teams of two, students have created unique and specially designed menus to showcase all the skills they have acquired to date, based on a café concept of their own. Many unique, creative, and delicious meal kits are available to choose from!

Café Concept Meal Kits are an excellent value — only $29.99 plus HST — and a perfect way to support our hard-working students!


Every Café Concept Meal Kit includes:
  • A full-size loaf of bread
  • A jarred preserve
  • An appetizer dish (One portioin)
  • A main course meal with sides (One portion)
  • A Viennoiserie product (a speciality croissant or similar)
  • A dessert element

Details for all menus are below. Only two orders are available for each menu — order your favourites as soon as possible!

Fleur de Sel captures the essence of French comfort food, highlighting the flavours and warmth of fall.

1. Classic Baguette

3. Poulet Chasseur w/ Hasselback Potatoes and Asparagus
4. Puff Pastry Tart w/ Thyme Caramel Peaches, Apples and Gruyere

Indilicious

Indilicious is a café inspired by the rich and diverse flavours of India. Our menu brings together classic Indian tastes made with care, reflecting the warmth, aroma, and comfort of traditional Indian food.

Sunshine & Winter Café

Sunshine & Winter Café celebrates the harmony between warmth and calm — the golden brightness of sunshine and the quiet comfort of winter.

Maili Cafe

Maili cafe is a place where flavours, stories and people meet in the middle-with grace.

Bangkok Breeze

Our café celebrates the heart and soul of Thai cuisine through a modern fusion concept. As two Thai chefs living abroad, we aim to represent the flavors of our homeland while making them more approachable to an international audience.

2.Tom Kha Kai (Thai style's coconut chicken soup)
3.Kra Pao Nura Sub Kai Dao (Stir-fried minced beef with Thai basil and fried egg)

PURTON - Under the Sun

Our café theme is Under the Sun, which highlights the Vibrant Indian Spices and Italy’s warm, comforting culinary tradition.

- with sundried tomatoes, bell pepper, rosemary, and roasted garlic
2) Paneer Tikka Skewers with Mint Chutney
3) Prawn Biryani with Raita
4) Orange-Cardamon Marmalade

Ameroux de Haricots

Beans are diverse, delicious, and criminally underrated. This menu offers a wonderful and playful taste of the many members of the legume family.
