That’s what this trip is all about. Maybe it will snow. Perhaps there will be an ice storm. Imagine the world’s largest cypress grove in those conditions.
OR, it might be rainy, 33 degrees, and everyone sits at home cussing Steven Loesch’s name for a wasted weekend….
So that’s what we have here! High-risk, high-reward. If we get clear skies, it’s a beautiful winter scene with bare trees against a deep blue sky. There is no moonlight this weekend, so the cold air will allow the winter Milky Way to beam overhead all night.
One thing is certain. I’ll either be THE goat….or a goat……
Recommended for kayaks only depending on winter temps. Suggested skill level is Advanced Intermediate for the same reason. Subject to update immediately prior to event based on forecast.
