CACLTN Regional Convening: LEHC Deep Dive
About this Event
Are you interested in housing cooperatives, resident leadership, or democratic governance in your housing? Whether you're just beginning to organize with your neighbors, building meeting and decision-making practices, or already participating in resident-led governance, this Housing Cooperative Deep Dive is for you.
Join community land trust residents, cooperative leaders, organizers, and partners from across California to learn, share, and co-create. Together, you'll explore cooperative financing, legal pathways, governance, and tools for navigating conflict. You'll exchange lessons, help shape shared curriculum, and connect with others building community-controlled housing rooted in collective ownership, democratic leadership, and long-term stewardship.
This regional convening is open to organizations statewide, who may be learning about the LEHC model.
A limited number of $300 reimbursements (add link for app)for travel expenses are available to CACLTN CLT and community ownership organization members who otherwise would not be able to participate in this event.
This convening is hosted by the California Community Land Trust Network with content organized by the Coops Peer to Peer working group.
