What happens when young Black men bridge ancestral wisdom with cutting-edge artificial intelligence? Come find out.

Join Kingmakers of Oakland for the grand finale of our brand-new summer residency, the Sankofa Kings Community Showcase. Over the last several weeks, a brilliant cohort of 26 young Black men has shifted from passive consumers of technology to true digital architects.

Utilizing a Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) framework, our Kings organized into multi-generational "Tribes" to audit their own Oakland neighborhoods, identify real-world systemic "bugs," and build software solutions to patch them. Utilizing advanced generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and secure data systems, they have built functional MVP software prototypes engineered to uplift their community.

Now, they are stepping out of the lab and into the future.

• Crowning Ceremony: Celebrate and honor the dedication, growth, and brotherhood of these future industry leaders.
