Cacao Ceremony FACILITATOR TRAINING with Maryzelle Yōllōcozcatzin

This week long cacao ceremony training is designed as both an immersive learning experience and a personal journey with cacao. Through two in person training days and a guided at home practice in between sessions, participants will build a deeper relationship with cacao through study, ritual, and embodied experience.Cacao has been used for thousands of years as a sacred plant medicine to open the heart, connect us to gratitude, and bring us back into harmony with ourselves and the Earth. In this training, you will not only learn about cacao, you will experience it, embody it, and build a relationship with it.

This work is rooted in lineage and lived experience. Maryzelle carries a deep connection to cacao through her Salvadoran ancestry and her ceremonial training within the Pies Descalzos lineage with Abuela Chicahuaxochitl. Her approach weaves ancestral reverence with modern facilitation, sound healing, and embodied practice.

You do not need prior experience. This space is open to both beginners and experienced facilitators.

What you will learn and experience:

The history and origins of cacao as an ancestral medicine
What ceremonial cacao is and what it is not
How to properly hold a ceremonial cacao space with respect for its cultural roots, history, and sacred context
How to prepare cacao intentionally and safely
The structure and flow of a cacao ceremony
How to hold space physically, energetically, and spiritually
How to create a safe, grounded, and heart centered container
How to weave your own gifts into ceremony such as sound, movement, or meditation

You will also receive and experience multiple cacao ceremonies, guided meditations, and sound healing journeys as part of the training.

Between sessions

In between the two in person trainings, you will be invited to work with cacao more deeply in your own home through a guided daily practice. This is optional but highly recommended to support a deeper connection with the cacao spirit and your personal relationship with the medicine.
