Open our hearts to create an intentional vessel to hold our intentions for this year & beyond in courageous sisterhood.
Join the Younique Wildflowers as we gather to take a meditative creative journey in clay, paired with the sacred plant medicine, cacao to open our hearts to what we desire to co-create in our lives.
I am collaborating with Margo, a ceramic artist for over 13 years to offer a creative meditation in clay. Clay is formed by processes on this earth that span back eons in time and can be found in abundance under our very feet as we walk. It is eons of space dust, evolution, ancestry, cycles of life from birth to death and all that the earth gives to us grounded and mixed together by the universe to continue to support us.
We are going to be forming vessels in clay of your choosing, it can be anything simple that holds things, whether that be a small dish, a bowl, a cup or a mug by using a pound of clay and our fingers. We will be talking about intention and purpose, and will be pinching that into the clay with intentional hands guided by our hearts. We will make it into something you can take forward into your life to hold and also use as part of your rituals, your own practices or to sit on your own altar.
We encourage you to bring things from nature or your life that you can also imprint into the clay if you choose to leave marks of intention on your pieces like leaves, acorns, pinecones or anything from nature that you feel connected to. We will also have iron oxides to make marks on the clay should you chose too, and to put your own personal stamp on it since iron is the very foundation of the blood that courses through our veins to bring life and grounds us to this earth.
We will be using stoneware clay, and food safe glazes to create a vessel that I will fire in the kiln and you can pick up at a later date. These vessels will be oven and microwave safe, and will last for many years to come.
