About this Event
This is a powerful ceremony of life and death, where we can feel and experience the joy and happiness, sadness, pain and grief, anger and confusion, and anything in between. We may connect with our guides from other realms, or perhaps just experience a simple, present, clear and spacious mind.
🌟 Elements of the ceremony:
– Drinking a cup of 100% pure, ceremonial-grade cacao, education/history around this heart-medicine of a plant, and diving into a meditation with her spirit
– Yoga/Movement/Breathwork for awakening the 10 bodies and your most primal nature
– Empathic Communication work, together in community, to authentically relate and uncover aspects of ourselves, best seen with a clear mirror
– Transformational Breathwork and Shamanic Drum Journey to bring messages of the subconscious mind to the surface of awareness
– Sound Healing Journey and Yoga Nidra meditation
– Medicine Music and community song-share by Seminole Tribes people and our collective ceremony holders.
– Sharing circles throughout the time and space, to grow and coalesce in the sacred container of this Ceremony.

Your Guides:
Mat Chandler: We will be guided by a long-time practitioner and space-holder to work with the Spirit of Cacao in a beautiful way. The creative visionary and journeyman of the Holy Wow Cacao project, Mat Chandler, has worked with cacao for 9+ years and moved to Guatemala 5 years ago to work with Cacao directly at the source. The cacao we will work with is Cacao he will be bringing that’s been formed within their Mayan Cacao Collective, called Las Manos de la Tierra (which means The Hands of the Earth).
Krysten Rodriguez: Krysten Rodriguez is a healing guide, and wayshower of both ancient, and new age spiritual practices, and healing modalities of several different lineages. Her teachings include traditional yogic practices, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Nidra and Kundalini yoga, Qi Gong, and Somatic emotional healing therapies. Krysten is an Inner Alignment coach, and the founder of Botanic Body Yoga- A heart-based healing movement birthed from her own personal healing journey, which was catalyzed by her desire to seek healthier ways of enhancing mental health, and overall quality of life. Her life path and passion are devoted to helping others restore and strengthen the blissful nature of their soul, bringing people together in sacred spaces, and carrying the message that we all have the power to heal from within.
Alexander "Bush Ninja" Howe: is an intrepid adventurer, captivating storyteller, flamboyant performer, and enthusiastic educator of practical herbalism. Throughout the last thirteen years, his journeys have taken him all over Southern Africa, having spent more than seven years “boots on the ground.” It was during these adventures that he earned the moniker "Bush Ninja," and began specializing in Southern African medicinal plants.
Bush Ninja learned about Kanna (sceletium tortuosum) early in his African adventures. He launched Mamma Kanna because he believes that the time has come for the people to rediscover this ancient medicine plant. As a serotonin reuptake inhibitor, Kanna has massive potential to help modern societies struggle with anxiety, depression, and addictions, all while generously supporting the indigenous people who have carried this ancestral knowledge forward through time. As such, Mamma Kanna is honored to donate 11% of our proceeds directly to Indigenous peoples education, outreach, and activism projects in Southern Africa.
Eat only lightly* 2-3 hours before the ceremony begins and please avoid drinking caffeine on the day of the ceremony.
The week prior to ceremony it is best to be free of alcohol, cannabis and other things that could be considered an intoxicant.
