Theobroma cacao, translated to Food of the Gods, is a superfood that is loaded with antioxidants, an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, and is a protector of the heart. It is known to offer a revitalizing and uplifting energy that supports the expansion of the physical, mental, and spiritual bodies. The cacao we will enjoy is sourced from Ecuadorian 5000+ year old heirloom trees grown and handled with respect and love. In this session, you will be led through intention setting and grounding practices to give ourselves permission to pause and fully arrive. Then, we will introduce cacao with songs, prayers, and an informative talk on its scientific and energetic benefits. After we take our first sip together, we'll open the space for storytelling, vulnerable sharing, reflections, contemplations, celebrations, and compassionate listening followed by an opportunity to share songs as we integrate our experience, weave our voices together in a supportive, non-judgemental way . We will conclude with a unified space for sharing our experiences.
What to wear/bring/tips: It is recommended that you drink cacao on an empty stomach so that you can more quickly digest your cacao. Wear what is most comfortable to you. Be authentic in your expression. Please bring with you a water bottle, journal, pencil/pen, an open heart, and anything that helps you feel at home.
