Cabernet Franc Master Class - Barnard Griffin WOODINVILLE

Did you know that Cabernet Franc is one of the parent grapes for other beloved (and more globally popular) red wine grapes, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot? Were you aware that Cab Franc can range in flavor from pepper and plum to floral and flint? When was the last time you had a Cab Franc??

If your answers to these questions were "no", "no", and "more than a week ago"/"never?", then it's high time you joined us for a deep-dive into this underrated French grape! Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or just starting to explore the world of wine, this event promises to be both educational and delicious. In this class, we'll learn all about Cabernet Franc and some of the primary regions that produce it, and we'll try five or six different versions of this wine from around the globe. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to expand your wine knowledge and palate!

The class will be led by Alaina Crawford, Barnard Griffin's Woodinville Tasting Room Manager, who holds a Level 3 certification in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).

This event will take place at Barnard Griffin's Woodinville tasting room from 12pm to 1:30pm on Sunday, January 19th.

· Tickets are $45 for the general public, and $40 for Barnard Griffin wine club members.

· Tasting-sized pours (approx. 1oz each) of five to six different wines and light palate-cleansing snacks are included (attendees must be 21+).

· You can purchase tickets directly through Eventbrite, or by calling the Woodinville tasting room at 425-671-1176. Barnard Griffin wine club members - if you register online, we will charge your card on file one week before the event.

Classes are non-refundable within 7 days of the class. If you cannot attend and it is 7 or less days until the class, you may transfer the tickets to someone else. Please communicate any scheduling conflicts with Barnard Griffin ([email protected]).
