About this Event
With many stops along the way, we'll explore some of the oldest and newest sections of Toronto... from Castle Frank to the Necropolis Cemetery to the Canary District and the Cherry Street re-development.
Along the way, we’ll share the juicy, gossipy stuff never taught in school about what life was like in the 19th century. Who lived in the laneways? Who lived in the grand houses of Cabbagetown? Why was malaria a top public health hazard? Plus: the shocking truth about how much booze was consumed in the straight-laced Toronto of the 19th century.
