About this Event

Join us for a collaborative meal and lecture mapping brassica folklore around the world. Together we will explore folktales and myths as agricultural technologies through cabbage’s symbolic, magical and often resistant meanings through history and across cultures. We welcome you to bring a personal story about cabbage to share.
$30 suggested donation to Feed the People Bedstuy covers a meal ticket and a seat at the lecture.
Feed the People Bedstuy is a mutual aid group founded in 2020 that redirects food waste to provide 150+ meals per week for strikes, J*il support, free fridges, food serves, teach-ins, elders and migrants. Get involved at https://www.instagram.com/feedthepeople_bedstuy
