🎸✈️ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – Run For Cover is playing the USS Midway! ✈️🎸
We are beyond honored to be the band for the C-2 Sundown Gala on September 5th aboard the USS Midway Museum right here in San Diego!
For those who don’t know, the C-2 Greyhound is the legendary Navy cargo aircraft that has faithfully served carrier aviation for 60 years, delivering everything from mail to critical parts to passengers to the flight deck. VRC-40, the last operational C-2 squadron, is hosting this historic retirement celebration, and Run For Cover gets to provide the soundtrack.
This is not just a gig, for some of us, the C-2 community IS family! Getting to play on the flight deck of the Midway to send off this iconic aircraft and the incredible people who flew and maintained her – that’s something we’ll never forget.
