🚨🚨🚨 WE CONTINUE TO BE IN the BRING US EVERYTHING phase so that we can have as much stuff on the floor as possible opening night.
What do we need, you ask?
The idea is to collect a bunch of stuff that people have sitting unused in their houses and get it to people who can use it. It's all volunteer driven, and the space is donated by Paul & Lynn Kane.
This event is available to anyone.
No one needs to prove that they are struggling or which school they go to.
No judgment on style or gender expression.
You do you.
It is -not- limited to C-U schools or even Champaign County schools. You're welcome to come in from wherever.
(If you're east of us we might recommend checking out Mike's aunts' shop, Twisted Sisters, in Rossville, IL, as they do a similar thing there!)
We always have a bunch of dresses that might not make sense for prom, but might be good for graduation, a wedding, church, homecoming, whatever. You're welcome to grab one of those, too. Your parent can grab something if they want. YOU can grab something if you're reading this.
Items that we need:

👑 Jewelry/tiaras
🧥 Pant suits/jumpers
💄 Makeup/nail products/beauty products/scents
--new or even barely used/didn't like // samples also great!
👔 Men's suits/jackets/shirts/ties/shoes
🍫 Snacks/drinks
🧳 Garment bags
Organized by former Champaign County Recorder Mike Ingram, inspired by his Vermilion County aunts and carried out in loving memory of Jodi Evelsizer and Tomarra Motley.
Executed yearly with the help of many incredible community members including Carolyn Farren, Christine Windelborn, Kristen Long, Kayla Brown, Kristen Marriage, Nicole Frydman, Diana Dudzienski, Paula Strong, and many more.
We'll kick off before Easter and then try to have as many open "shopping" days as possible before late April.
🚨 NOTE: We will continue to accept donations of dresses (formal/non-formal), shoes, suits, bags, jewelry, unopened makeup, nail polish, beauty products, purses, etc. throughout this process, so PLEASE check your closets or go visit your parents and dig up your old prom gear. The more we have, the better we can serve these kids. 🚨
DROP OFF AT 41 E University:
Sun 3/22 - 3-6pm
Mon 3/23 - 4-7pm
(Can also drop off during business hours at Farren's, Beads N Botanicals, Fire Doll Studio, Catch My Thrift in Lincoln Square, Keller Williams at 2441 Village Green Place)
