C. N. Kuster is an epic fantasy author and Fulbright Scholar. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Regis University and an MA in curriculum and instruction from the University of Colorado Boulder. Kuster is an avid traveler who lives near Denver, Colorado, where she teaches English, collects fountain pens and fancy paper, spends time outdoors, and haunts local coffee shops.
David R. Slayton (he/him) grew up in Guthrie, Oklahoma, where finding fantasy novels was pretty challenging and finding fantasy novels with diverse characters was downright impossible. Now he lives in Denver, Colorado, and writes the books he always wanted to read. His epic fantasy, Dark Moon, Shallow Sea, won the Colorado Book Award.
