Happy New Year! With the blessing of Fr. Nick Halkias, Savva Bournelis is pleased to offer a new class at Holy Trinity on Byzantine Chant. Starting Thursday, January 23 at 6 pm, participants will learn how to read one of the most ancient forms of music notation, become familiar with the 8-tones cycle, various forms of thematic text painting, proper methods to chant and much more.
