BYOC - Social Crafting Meet-Up

✨ Pretty Mess Society - BYOC Social ✨
These sessions are designed to be fun, easy, relaxed, and welcoming - a space big enough for us to gather as a community and enjoy a few hours of crafting, chatting, and being creative together. No teaching, no demos, no pressure. Just you, your craft, and a room full of lovely people who get it!

Come solo or bring a friend - either way, you’ll fit right in!
💜What to expect💜
A relaxed, inclusive, creative space with tables and seating provided.
Bring your craft, settle in, and spend the afternoon crafting, chatting, or simply unwinding.
It’s a chance to meet others in the Pretty Mess Society community, but it's also intentionally informal, so you can work at your own pace and dip in and out of conversation as you like.
💜What to bring💜
Your own craft project(s) and any tools you’ll need - think knitting, crochet, embroidery, hand sewing, journaling, drawing, painting, scrapbooking, or other small portable crafts (all crafts are welcome - as long as it comfortably fits on the table).
To help keep things inclusive, we’ll also have a small selection of spare craft materials available on the day – so if you have limited supplies, we won’t let that stop you from taking part! (If you have any spare supplies you’d like to donate to a communal craft pile for others to enjoy, we’d really appreciate it if you brought them along - though there’s absolutely no expectation/pressure to do so!)
💜Ticket price💜
Tickets are £6 per person, to help cover room hire and set-up cost, as well as some light refreshments. You’re also very welcome to bring your own drinks or snacks if you’d prefer.
💜Spaces💜
Spaces are limited due to venue capacity, so we recommend booking as soon as possible, to secure your spot. If you can no longer make the event, please cancel your booking so someone else can join instead!
💜Getting there💜
All of our events take place at the Fairkytes Arts Centre.
Please note there is no on-site parking, so if you’re travelling by car, please plan ahead. Where possible, we recommend travelling by public transport, as the venue is well connected.
Bring what you’re working on, come as you are, and enjoy a creative Saturday afternoon with us - we’re so excited to see you there!
