There’s no assigned reading, no homework, and no pressure. Just show up with whatever you’re currently reading (physical book, e-book, or audiobook!) and enjoy some dedicated reading time with a great community.
Whether you’re a fast reader, a slow reader, or just trying to get back into your "reading era," you are welcome here. 🥂✨

Arrive & Order: Grab a coffee, a local brew, or a cocktail from our amazing hosts.
The Quiet Read: After the 30-minute gather & socialize time, we’ll transition into one hour or so of dedicated quiet reading time. 🤫📖
The Social: Stick around for the last bit of the meetup to chat about what you’re reading, trade recommendations, and get your 2026 Reading Bingo squares checked off! 🎲

Do I have to live in Greenville?
Nope! We welcome readers from all over Pitt County and beyond. Even if you are just visiting the area and just looking for a brief bookish meet-up at a local spot, you are also welcome!
What if I’m not reading a "cool" book?
What even is that? lol! All genres are welcome! From dark fantasy and "romantasy" to non-fiction and thrillers. No judgment here!
Is it free?
The event is free to attend, but we highly encourage supporting our local host venues by purchasing a drink or a snack.
