About this Event
Did you know cigarette butts are one of the most common litter found during cleanups? Help us cleanup our local Junipero Beach focusing on not only cigarette butts, but other debris as well.
Join Algalita Marine Research and Education and City of Long Beach's Tobacco Education and Prevention Program on Saturday, October 18 from 10-12pm at Junipero Beach Lifeguard Headquarters (2100 E Ocean Blvd).
Each host group will have a table and representatives there sharing resources and getting to know the community better!

BYO Month in Long Beach 2025 is a month-long celebration of Long Beach businesses dedicated to reducing single-use plastics. Use your reusable containers (cups, bags, containers) at participating locations and join in on BYO Month events to collect stamps and submit your stamp card to be entered to win fun prizes. More details will be announced at the screening and find more info on the City's webpage. We cannot wait to kick single-use plastics to the curb and reduce waste in Long Beach with you!
