Blankets with Care
(a501c3 Non Profit Charity that brings Joy to the Homeless, Elderly, Veterans & those in needi in Macomb, St. Clair, Oakland Counties & the surrounding areas.) Will be out in front of the Motor Cafe (look for the Purple Tent).
will be taking donations of clothes, jackets, coats, blankets, sleeping bags, working bicycles, backpacks, etc... The items will be taken to McWarm. They will give them directly to the Homeless.
Blankets with Care will also be taking donations of items from their wishlists for their "BWC Five & Dime Store Pop Up Act of Caring" where they go to local Nursing Homes and give the residents plastic Nickels & Dimes to shop from the donated items at no cost to the residents. They accept donations of cash, checks Paypal, Venmo. They accept Gift Cards to Walmart, Target, Sams Club, BJ's Wholesale, Meijer, Amazon so they can get the perishable items (snacks & pop) closer to the dates of the Act of Caring.
