United Way's Business Volunteer Network is partnering with WayForward Resources! During our time together, we will tour of one of the largest food pantries in Dane County, hear presentations on housing stability and food security, and help where needed (ie, sorting and re-packing products, light cleaning, basic yard work, outdoor garden tasks, help in the Clothing Center, etc).
WayForward Resources has been a partner of United Way of Dane County for decades. In 2024, United Way's 211 referral program in Dane County saw the total number of referrals for rent and security deposits in 2024 increase by 35% compared to 2023. The total food pantry referrals increased by 7%.
We're excited to learn more about WayForward Resources and to volunteer with them. We will be here on Wednesday, September 17 from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to register and check in at the Welcome Volunteers signage in front of the Distribution Center, which is the building behind our Main Office. Parking is available on-site at 3504 Parmenter Street in Middleton.
