This summer, Buy The Hood is leveling up the movement with the launch of Buy The Hood Camp — a dynamic, 5 week-long financial literacy and wealth-building experience for Black youth in Philly. Hosted at the iconic Sixth Man Center, this camp isn’t just about dollars and cents — it’s about power, purpose, and planting seeds of legacy.
For over a decade, Buy The Hood has been on the front lines teaching the culture how to invest, own, and build. Now, we’re pouring that same energy into the next generation — straight from the hood, for the hood.
💼 What We Teach:
- How money really works (beyond the textbook)
- Stocks, crypto, real estate, and business ownership
- Budgeting, credit, and financial self-defense
- Black history and economics — from the plantation to the portfolio
- Critical thinking, group projects, and boss-level confidence
🎯 Who It’s For:
Black youth (ages 5 & Up) ready to dream bigger, move smarter, and build wealth early.

This ain't no cookie-cutter financial camp. We bring culture, community, and confidence. Our lessons are led by real-life Black entrepreneurs, investors, and educators who speak the language and live the mission.
