For the past 1t5 years Friends of Folsom has done an Annual Turkey Drive, this effort has resulted in over 80k families being fed on Thanksgiving. 10k every year for the last 4 years, this effort has been largely supplemented by our "Buy One More Event", In past years we've asked the public to buy one extra turkey when doing their shopping or while doing their Thanksgiving shopping and put it in our freezer truck.
This year with the help of several other nonprofits, we've been able to expand this effort to multiple local grocery stores.
