💙Welcome to chiang Mai’s first and only Buy Nothing in-person meet up! 🗓️ We meet the second Sunday of every month at Free Bird Cafe CNX, thrift store and donation center.
🕰️ Please come on time at 12:30 PM, and place your items around the room/or outside depending on weather, under the appropriate labels. Then, you just take whatever you want or need, no questions asked.
🌍 The point of this meet up is to promote more sustainability, less waste, and a community that cares.
♥️Anything that is left over and not claimed, is donated to Free Bird Cafe’s donation center, where they sort, separate and pack items to be sent to refugees from the Civil War in Myanmar along the border, rural Thai villages, and construction worker camps in the city. A small amount of items that comes to the donation center may be sold to raise money to buy emergency food, medicine, and supporting teacher salaries in rural areas.
🖊️ No need to sign up or register, just click going, grab some things you’re not using, and your friends and come to Free Bird.
🍜 Free Bird also has a full menu of drinks, coffees, smoothies, curries, noodles, delicious plant based food, and 100% of the profits go to their project supporting refugees, so you could also plan on grabbing breakfast or lunch when you visit.
