💖Our first Buy Nothing Fair was a huge success—hundreds of neighbors came together to share, swap, and spread generosity. Thanks to that overwhelming community response, we’re back for round two!
♻️This event is a simple and beautiful way to give what you don’t need and take what you do. It’s all about keeping good things in circulation, out of landfills, and in the hands of neighbors who will love and use them.
Here’s How It Works:
Step 1: Gather Your Donations
✨Look around your home for gently used, clean, and functional items ready for a new life.
Perfect donations include:
✨Books, craft/art supplies, and small décor
✨Houseplants, planters, and gardening tools
✨Kitchen items, mugs, and small household goods
✨Toys, puzzles, and games
✨Gently worn clothing and accessories
đźš«Please no: large furniture, broken items, or heavily worn goods.
Step 2: Pack & Drop Off Your Items
✨ Group your donations in boxes or bags for easy sorting and storage prior to event.
Donation Drop-Offs Begin: Monday, October 28th
Drop donations during shop hours through Friday, November 7th so our volunteer team can sort, organize, and display everything for a smooth, joyful event weekend.
✨ If you forget to drop off ahead of time—no worries! Volunteers will be available during the event to accept and display new donations.
Step 3: Browse & Take Home Treasures
✨ On November 8th & 9th, our outdoor space will transform into a free, community-powered marketplace!
Take home anything within the designated Buy Nothing area that sparks joy or fills a need—absolutely free.
After the event, any unclaimed items will be donated to local charities and community partners. (We’re happy to take suggestions!)
đź’ˇ No Donation? No Problem!
You don’t have to give in order to take. This event is rooted in community care, not transactions—sometimes we have more to share, and sometimes we simply need support. Come as you are and take what serves you.
🌼 Volunteers Needed!
Our first event exceeded all expectations—and we hope this one will be just as big! We’re expanding our volunteer team to help create another smooth, welcoming, and joy-filled weekend.
We’re seeking volunteers for:
✨ Event Prep & Sorting – Organizing and setting up donations before the fair (starting as early as Oct 29)
✨ Day-of Event Support – Greeting neighbors, accepting new donations, tidying displays, and assisting visitors
✨ Post-Event Wrap-Up – Packing leftover items and helping deliver them to local organizations Sunday evening
