Break in the New Year and Join Award Winning Wisconsin Artist Stacey Carlson at Ugly Mugs in Cedar Grove, WI, on Saturday, January 31st, 2026 to paint a delicate butterfly resting on a flower, at an easy, relaxed pace. This class is designed for anyone looking for a calm, creative reset. You can decide on color you would like your butterfly and flower to be! *See examples below.
In this class you’ll learn:
Simple watercolor techniques you can use again and again
How to layer color without overworking your paper
How to let watercolor do what it does best—flow and surprise you
How to enjoy the process without pressure or perfection
No prior painting experience is needed. I’ll guide you through every step, and you’ll leave with a finished painting and a little more confidence in your creativity.
