About this Event

Join us for a relaxing and peaceful afternoon at our historic site.

Arriving at 1pm, you will join our dedicated Wildlife volunteers on site.

After a quick chat, you will be be led off, into the wooded and secluded areas that are kept protected on site.

With the summer being so splendid this year, the Butterflies and Moths have been teaming, as have other insects - bringing with them a range of birdlife. As you step carefully and quietly with your guide, amongst the trees, grasses and shrubs, you will have the best chance to view this wonderful ecosphere in action.

With its wide-ranging resident species, Stow Maries Has long been the subject of photographers, a goal for wildlife enthusiasts and of great interest to ecological surveys. Who knows what wonders you might stumble on as you pick your way through some of the 13 different Natural England special zones within our Conservation area.
