Butte County 4-H is putting on its Fifth Annual Small Animal Field Day at the Silver Dollar Fair Grounds on Sunday October 6th, 2024. This Field Day is open to all currently enrolled 4-H members! We are hosting events for Dogs, Cavies, Rabbits, Poultry, Dairy goats and Pygmy goats. Entry deadline - September 27th 2024
Educational Display presentation opportunity as well!
Schedule:
8:00-9:00 Check in
9:30 – 12:00 PM Knowledge Bowl (pre-enrollment NOT necessary)
10:00 - 12:00 Educational Display Talk evaluations (presentations for fair requirement opportunity).
9:30 - 11:30 Rabbit Breed Show
10:30 - 12:30 - Poultry Breed Show
9:00 – 9:30 Cavy Showmanship.
9:30 - 10:30 Poultry Showmanship
10:30 – 11:00 Dog Show
11:00 – 1:00 Pygmy & Dairy Goat Showmanship
11:30 - 12:30 Rabbit Showmanship
1:00 Round Robin (at conclusion of other shows)
1:30 Clean up - Everyone please participate in cleaning up the grounds.
