BUTCHER THE PIG: The Movie Launch

This October, the feature film Butcher The Pig begins production. Before the cameras roll, we’re inviting the community to be part of the journey.
Join us at Theatre On King on April 24 for a special launch event for the film’s fundraising campaign. The evening will feature a live staged reading of the play, performed by the original world-premiere cast - the same actors who will appear in the upcoming film adaptation.
Following the reading, the creative team will share the vision for bringing Butcher The Pig to the screen and how audiences can get involved in supporting the film.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the story in its original stage form before it becomes a movie, and to be part of the team helping bring what we believe will become an iconic Canadian film to life.
