Head downtown for a taste of the eccentric, the eclectic, and purely entertaining talents of local street performers called "buskers". Buskers will be spread around the downtown core, and rely on your votes to win cash prizes. Cast your vote and enjoy the entertainment. Main stage entertainers and activities will be held in Ellensburg’s new Unity Park.
For the first time, youth buskers will be hitting the main stage. These up-and-coming young performers from Make Music Ellensburg will showcase their talents on the main stage, alongside TwinSpin and Blue Bear Puppet Lab.
Additional family activities include a petting zoo, face painting, rock painting, sensory activities for toddlers, and more.
ABOUT BUSKERS IN THE BURG
Buskers in the Burg is an annual event that celebrates the creativity and eccentricity of street performers. This event was started in 2011 by Lee Honeycutt, late husband of former EDA Director Carolyn Honeycutt. Buskers in the Burg is a legacy event that the community cherishes, and it continues to evolve as new generations of youth, adults, and performers call Ellensburg home.
