Business Speed Networking

Business Speed Networking is an in-person networking event for local business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals.

Join us for a morning of structured, time-efficient speed networking. Introduce your business, meet multiple professionals, explore opportunities to collaborate, and identify potential referral partners. The goal is to build relationships that can generate business beyond the event—not simply exchange business cards.

How the Speed Networking Should Work

1. Two-minute introductions: Each participant explains their business, ideal customer, and the type of referral they want.
2. Timed rotations: Participants rotate between conversations so they can meet multiple professionals.
3. Identify opportunities: Each participant looks for complementary businesses that serve similar customers.
4. Exchange information: Attendees record contact details and identify promising referral relationships.
5. Follow up: Encourage participants to schedule individual meetings within the following week.

The goal is to help attendees leave with more than a stack of business cards. They should leave with several relevant connections and a clear understanding of how those relationships might create business opportunities.
My Recommendation for Promoting the Event

To lead business opportunity and a message to professionals who want to grow revenue, strengthen their referral networks, and establish relationships with people who can influence purchasing decisions.

According to LinkeIn's 2026 Small Business Study:

41% — 61% — 36% FASTER

• 41% of surveyed small businesses identified referrals as their leading source of leads.
• 61% of surveyed businesses reported that customer or partner referrals generated closed-won deals.
• 36% faster deal progression through warm introductions compared with cold outreach.

Let's Build Relationships. Share Referrals. Grow Together.
