Come join us at Black Walnut Cafe for an evening of networking and business book discussions! Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to connect with like-minded individuals and expand their knowledge.

This is not your typical book club!

During our weekly meetings, there will be a reading of one chapter of a business book and then group discussion. If there's time, we will read/discuss more than one chapter. When appropriate, we may do activities or projects that are outlined in the book, as a group or as homework for each person to work on at home and share with the group the following meeting.

We will vote as a group to pick the next book to read after we finish a book. All books read in this group will be relevant to business owners actively running a business. If there's a business book you'd like us to read as a group, bring it with you when it's time to vote and it may get selected!

No one will be required to read, the reading will be done by the facilitator (or a substitute if the facilitator is unable to attend).

Meeting Agenda:

3:00-3:15PM: Social/networking time (grab a coffee, a cookie, or even late lunch)

3:15-4:00PM: Book reading (discussion after each chapter read)

Feel free to stay afterwards to network or socialize some more.

If you have a crafting project you'd like to do -- needlework, scrapbook layout, macrame, coloring book, origami, etc. -- feel free to bring it to the meeting to do while you listen. You may also want to bring a Sudoku, crossword puzzle, etc.

You're welcome to bring a laptop, tablet, or phone to use for work or games while listening to the book reading, but please sit at a separate table so your electronic activity does not become a distraction to others.
