Once again, in partnership with Franklin College, The First Tuesday Networking on May 5th, will be held at the college and include a unique exhibition of local young people, putting their best foot forward into the world of work.

This exciting ‘Reverse recruitment fair’ puts 20 talented students in the spotlight, giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills, ambitions, and potential, directly to our local business community. Over the past 12 weeks, these students have been mentored, coached, encouraged and prepared to demonstrate what they have to offer.

We always talk about how important it is to encourage talented and motivated young people to stay in the area, so come along to the network and while you are there, visit their stands, lend your encouragement, and perhaps come away inspired and hopeful for the future!

Networking can often feel intimidating, which is why we've adopted a more informal approach without forced presentations or elevator pitches.

Name tags are provided for you to identify the person you would like to talk to. And, there is no fixed agenda, so you can come and go as you please. If you would like to be introduced to someone on the day, simply approach one of the Hive Team Members, and we will facilitate that introduction for you.
