💼 Lost in Business Translation with Ivan BerovYou join a meeting and within the first few minutes someone asks for a quick sync, mentions a few familiar work expressions, and somehow everyone around the table immediately knows what is happening.
At some point, these words become so normal at work that we stop noticing them. We hear them in meetings, presentations and emails all the time, but what do people actually mean when they use them?
This session is a practical and fun look at Business English in real working environments, the expressions we keep hearing, where they come from and how they became part of our everyday work vocabulary. And maybe along the way we'll discover that sometimes a simple sentence says more than a very impressive one.
