Business Crime Prevention Event
About this Event
Safer Neath Port Talbot , South Wales Police and Wales Cyber Resilience Centre are hosting an interactive business crime prevention event, funded by the Welsh Government, designed to help organisations understand the risk of cybercrime and how to prevent themselves from becoming a victim.
We would like to invite you.
Why attend?
Cybercriminals are increasingly exploiting trust, targeting organisations through methods such as:
- Compromised accounts within legitimate organisations
- Deceptive communications sent from trusted sources
- Requests that prompt action without proper verification (e.g. payments, data sharing)
These incidents are becoming more sophisticated and affect organisations of all sizes.
Key takeaways
This is more than a presentation — the session is designed to be practical and directly useful to your organisation.
- Insight into current and emerging cyber threats
- Real-world examples of how organisations are being targeted
- Clear, practical steps to reduce your exposure to risk
- Guidance aligned to recognised good practice
A key part of the event will be a breakout session, where you will:
