Join us for an introduction to the fascinating world of fungi and their many uses.-On an wander through beautiful woodland close to Hebden Bridge we'll meet a variety of edible and medicinal species and share the principles of identification and classification.
-This course covers the use of mushrooms not only for food and medicinal drinks but also for bushcraft and first aid.
-After an ID walk we will arrive at our secluded basecamp where you will have a go at an ancient firelighting technique using three key species of fungi to catch a spark and kindle a flame.
-We will then cook up tasty edible mushrooms and make a medicinal drink over the fire you have made.
