Join Yolanda Fraction for a summer book conversation and happy hour inspired by her new book, Joyful Workplaces: How People and Systems Create Energy, Resilience, and Results.

This is not a formal lecture or a traditional book talk. It is a relaxed gathering for anyone who desires to have an honest conversation about work. The central question, "How might we make work more joyful?" Work shouldn't simply be tolerated.

Hosted at Busboys and Poets (Columbia, MD).

This gathering mirrors the Busboys and Poets vibe. It's warm, creative, and buzzing with dialogue and curiousity.

Come ready for conversation, connection, and reflection. Whether you are a leader, reader, educator, consultant, Creative, student, community builder, or someone simply interested in the future of work, you are welcome.

You do not have to have finished the book to attend.

You may have read it, started it, skimmed it, or maybe you would like to simply come for the conversation. Think of this as an informal, intellectual salon - a room with people from all walks of life, coming together to discuss and engage with a topic.

This will be a laid-back evening with light structure, open conversation, and space to meet others who care about people, work, and the systems that shape our lives.

Come as you are. Bring your questions, reflections, work stories, and curiosity.

There will be space for thoughtful conversation, laughter, connection, and maybe even a few “I thought I was the only one” moments.
