Burt Aaronson Park Tree Planting | Volunteers (10/18/25)

Community Greening has teamed up with the Florida Forest Service and PBC Parks to plant nearly 100 new shade trees around the Cross Country Field on Saturday, October 18th and we need volunteers to help us plant!

These trees will provide cooler temperatures and much needed shade for runners, and we need YOUR help to get them in the ground!

Community Greening will have all of the necessary tools, as well as gloves and water/snacks (though feel free to bring your own). Please wear closed-toed shoes, attire that can get a little dirty, and a hat/sunscreen.

Event begins at 9am. Estimated finish around 11am.

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER ONLINE IN ADVANCE.

On the day of the event, after parking, proceed to check in at the CG tent. There will be signage to help guide you.

There Cross Country Field is located across from the Sunset Pavillion and Dog Park. Easiest access is via the Glades Road entrance & Regional Park Drive.
