Learn how these scientists conduct experiments and make observations to assess the quality of our environment. Discover ways that we can all make a positive impact toward a healthy environment.
Scouts will earn their Environmental Science merit badge.
Please Note: Burpee does not provide patches/badges.
Pre-registration & prepayment are required to attend.
Fees:
- Scouts - $15
- Parent/Additional Adult - $6 Each
- Scout Leaders - FREE
In-Person Class Date: Sunday, December 6, 2026 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST
Location: Burpee Museum of Natural History, 737 N Main St. Rockford, IL 61103
In person check-in starts 15 minutes before the program start time; online check-in starts 5 minutes before the program start time. Please plan to be here early so we can start on time.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
All event registrations and purchases are final and non-refundable. If Burpee Museum cancels an event, a full refund will be issued to registered participants.
Programs may be canceled if minimum enrollment requirements are not met. Burpee Museum reserves the right to limit registrations or cancel any program. Every effort will be made to notify registered participants of cancellations.
