Burning Rope were named in the top five in the UK Blues Awards 2026 in the Emerging Artist category, and their debut album was top 20.
The band were born from the ashes of multi award winning blues rock band Catfish who lost their frontman to cancer in October 2024. The rest of the band decided they would like to continue to play, write and record together so formed Burning Rope. Their second album 'Dissolution' was released in May 2026 and consolidates their unique combination of blues, rock and prog. The album was no 1 in the IBBA blues charts in May 2026
