Burning Rope at the Blues Bar Harrogate

Multi award nominated prog blues rock band Burning Rope will be at the Blues Bar in Harrogate on Saturday 14 November.
Burning Rope was born from the ashes of multi UK Blues award inning Catfish after the death of their frontman Matt Long in October 2024. The remaining members wanted to continue to write, play and record together so created this new band.
Very different from Catfish, Burning Rope have forged their own path, leaning heavily into the prog influences of keyboard player and Matt’s dad Paul Long and bass player Adam Pyke. Both their albums went to no 1 in the IBBA blues playlist charts.
This is a free entry gig to break our trip to play at the Glasgow Blues Festival - hope to see you there.
